Temporary television broadcasts

A temporary television broadcast is just what it sounds like – a broadcast for a limited time. You may want to broadcast a competition or an event in your area, for example.

Temporary television broadcasts take place in the terrestrial network, which has limited capacity. To be able to broadcast, you have to obtain a licence from us that is valid during the competition/event period. At most, you can be granted a licence that is valid for two weeks. When you have received a licence from us, you also have to apply to The Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) for a frequency licence. In other words, PTS decides which channel you are allowed to broadcast on.
